Module 1: CompTIA

In this module you will gain knowledge and entry-level experience in three separate career pathways: Helpdesk, Networking and Cybersecurity.

CompTIA A+ Certification

In the A+ Course you will learn how to support, maintain, and troubleshoot both hardware and software. This course covers desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers. At the end of this course students will be prepared to pass the A+ Certification Exams with some personal study.

CompTIA Network+ Certification

In this CompTIA Network+ Course you will learn the principles and building-blocks for networking infrastructure. You will gain an introductory level knowledge of complex topics including routing and switching protocols as well as the TCP/IP stack. This course serves as an excellent introduction to the Security+ Course.

CompTIA Security+ Certification

The CompTIA Security+ Certification course is built specifically to ensure you will get your certification at the end of the class. This global certification validates the skills you need to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. Even for those not interested in Security this certification is required at a lot of IT jobs.

Module 2: Cisco CCNA

The Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification is the perfect gateway to entry-level networking jobs and IT careers. Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices 1

This course will enable you to understand QoS, virtualization, and cloud services. It will provide the foundational understanding of the first 3 network layers that are applicable to core routing and switching plus other advanced technologies. New topics have been added to this course such as IPv6 and basic network security.

Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices 2

After going over the fundamentals of Cisco networking equipment in ICND1 this is where you will really delve into the Cisco ecosystem. Upon completion of this course you will be able to operate a medium-sized LAN environment (including multiple switches and trunking), troubleshoot IP connectivity, Configure and troubleshoot EIGRP and OSPF and much more.

Module 3: MCSA Server 2016

This module is all about gathering the necessary knowledge and completing the required courses for your MCSA certification.This will qualify you for a position as a network or computer systems administrator or as a computer network specialist.

MOC 20740 - Installation, Storage and Compute with Windows Server 2016

This course is designed for students who need to understand the scenarios, requirements, and storage and compute options that are available in Windows Server 2016.

MOC 20741 - Networking with Windows Server 2016

In this Microsoft Official Course students will be provided with the fundamental networking skills required to deploy & support Windows Server 2016 in most organizations. It covers IP fundamentals, remote access technologies, and more advanced content including software defined networking.

MOC 20742 - Identity with Windows Server 2016

This course teaches IT Pros how to deploy and configure Active Directory Domain Services in a distributed environment, how to implement Group Policy, how to perform backup and restore, and how to troubleshoot Active Directory related issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! One certfication voucher for each 2-month training module is included. The vouchers are good for one year. The Security+ and CEH exams may be taken at our Pearson Vue testing center. The CISSP exam must be taken at a separate CISSP testing center.

All courses must be taken at our training center in Boise, Idaho. Many out-of-state Veterans move to Idaho during the training program. There are affordable housing solutions close to our training center. We are working on VA approval to offer our custom IT Certification training remotely. If you would like to be notified once we are approved to offer training remotely using the GI Bill, send an email to info@leapfox.net with the words remote GI Bill in the subject.

Yes! LeapFox offers both internship and job placement assistance. Many of our students receive job offers before completing their training program.

If you have 100% GI Bill eligibility, the VA will pay for everything—books, labs, training, and exam vouchers.

Yes! Our school is considered full time (18 hours/week).  While you are attending LeapFox the GI Bill will pay you $1150/month. $1,050 for BHA and $100 for books. You will receive your payment via EFT the first week of each month.

The Registration Process

Certificate of Eligibility

Visit www.ebenefits.gov and obtain an updated copy of your certificate of eligibility. Verify you have enough benefits to complete the desired program. You will need two months of benefits for each month of training at LeapFox. If you haven't applied yet for your GI Bill benefits, you can do so on the eligibility page as well.
