Certifications that Matter
The CEH and CISSP certifications are two of the top 10 paying IT certifications.
Phase 1: CompTIA Security+
In this course students will be introduced to entry-level cyber security concepts. This course assumes the student has already completed CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification courses or that the student has an equivalent working knowledge of computer, and network principles. In this course students will implement, monitor, and troubleshooot infrastructure, application, information, and operation security. This phase will prepare students for the current CompTIA Security+ certification examination (SY0-501) if they choose to pursue it. The Security+ certification is the gold-standard for entry level Information Security jobs.
Phase 2: (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP)
In this course students will get the most comprehensive review of information security concepts and industry best practices. This class will cover the eight domains of the official CISSP CBK (Common Body of Knowledge). You will gain knowledge in security that will increase your ability to successfully implement and manage security programs in any organization or government entity. This is an intensive course designed to give students the knowledge required to pass the CISSP certification exam if they choose to pursue it.
Phase 3: EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Our EC-Council CEH course will help you master ethical hacking methodology that can be used in any penetration testing or ethical hacking situation. This course will immerse you into the hacker mindset so that you can learn what attack-vectors hackers commonly use, how those vectors are exploited, and most importantly how they think. Knowing these things will make you invaluable in discovering an organizations weaknesses, and coming up with defense strategies to protect sensitive information. This course will have several hands-on-labs allowing you to put concepts to the test. Students will also have the opportunity to build their own personal hacking device using a Raspberry Pi and Kali Linux.
