A trait of successful people is the desire to constantly be learning something new.  John Baker started in the military as a sergeant and 40 years later retired as a Colonel.  At 86 years of age he recently registered for and attended our CompTIA Security + course.  I had the pleasure of doing an exit interview with him once his course was complete.  It became apparent to me during our interview that John is a lifetime learner and this trait is one of his keys to a successful career. 

One of the key differences between your average, stay-in-the-same-place employee and a organizational leaders is the desire to learn and grow.
