The following programs are Veteran-friendly and VA Post 9/11, GI Bill® Benefit eligible at our training center in Meridian, Idaho.

  • Cisco CCNA Certification (ICND Parts 1 and 2)

Our programs are designed to give students the maximum amount of hands-on experience while preparing them to take and pass their certification exams, if they choose to.

If you would like to apply for your education benefits, you will need to collect the following information:

  • VA Education Benefit Application
  • Form DD214 Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty
  • Dates and service status for each period of military service
  • Number of months of eligibility remaining for benefits under one or more VA education programs
  • Information pertaining to the participation in the $600 Buy-up Program
  • Benefit Kicker Contract (if participated)
  • Transcripts for all periods of post-secondary education
  • Banking information to allow for direct deposit of benefits

Do I Qualify?

 You are eligible if you served a minimum of 90 days on active duty after September 10, 2001, and:

  • Are still on active duty
  • Are an honorably discharged Veteran
  • Have a service-connected disability
  • Guardsmen/women who have completed AIT or Technical Training School

VA Education benefit Application Process

Does the length of time served after 9/11/01 affect my level of benefits?

Yes, the amount of tuition and stipends paid through the VA Education Benefits program will vary depending on your school, number of classes taken, and amount of post September 11, 2001, active-duty service. Here is a quick reference showing the percentage of total combined benefit eligibility based on the following periods of post 9/11 service: (Please click for most current information)

  • 100% – Purple Heart Recipient
  • 100% – 36 or more total months
  • 100% – 30 or more consecutive days with disability related discharge.
  • 90% – At least 30 months <36 months
  • 80% – At least 24 months <30 months
  • 70% – At  least 18  months <24 months
  • 60% – At least 6 months <18 months
  • 50% – At least 90 days <6 months

Will I receive living expense reimbursement?

Our program qualifies as full-time schooling.  You may be eligible receive BHA payments.  Give us a call – We can help determine what your benefits will be – 208-898-9036

Will I get certified?

Certification is optional in our IT Administrator program.  The focus of our classes will be real world, hands-on application (not exam prep).  Additional study will be required to pass your certification exam.  Included in your program is one certification voucher with a retake.  You can use it towards any exam in the program.  For those who wish to certify, LeapFox will provide certification study resources.

Can I take one of the three phases by itself?

Yes.  You can choose to take one or all of the phases.  

Will you help me get a job?

Yes, our Veterans Representative will assist you in identifying possible employers and setting up appointments.  We  offer internship and career placement support.  

What do you need from me to get started?

To get registered will need the following documents:

  • Number of months of eligibility remaining for benefits under one or more VA education programs
  • Transcripts for all periods of post-secondary education

Do I have to Attend Your Office in Meridian, Idaho?

Yes.  Our VA programs require you to physically attend all classes at our training center in Meridian.  Our office is located at 131 SW 5th Ave  Meridian, ID 83642 (just outside of Boise).

All our training programs are designed to be military friendly.  Our classes are typically 50% or higher of hands-on labs and projects, giving students an opportunity to learn by doing.
